Area 31 Student Selected as State Officer
Area 31 Selected as State Officer Martin Cabrera Lopez has been selected as a 2020-21 SkillsUSA state officer. Martin will participate in leadership training in his position with the national student organization. He will be an advocate for Career and Technical Education when engaging different audiences throughout his tenure. Martin will serve as a leader to students at regional and state skills competitions, and have the opportunity to meet with State and federal lawmakers on behalf of Career and Technical Education. Martin, a Ben Davis High School senior, is enrolled in the Auto Service Technology program and is a member of the varsity soccer team. He will be the second Area 31 student to serve as a state officer.
